Coding in Scratch

In Spring 2013 an after-school coding class was offered at Monte Vista Elementary School.  It lasted 6-weeks and was quite successful.  The outline of the program, research, and results are available here.
The goal is that each school site will offer free after-school coding/programming classes at all Foothill schools.  A parent or teacher is needed at each school site who is looking to take on this exciting opportunity.  The curriculum has been developed and researched.  Training for the coding teachers is available for free online at #CCOW.  Training, co-teaching, or speaking to teachers/principals about the value of the program is available as a free resource.  Ultimately, each school site should self-sustainable.  This is easily done with the resources available online for free.

Ability to work with 20+ excited students is a must.
